Planning a lingerie shower is fun and easy.
-You can have it framed, kinda expensive but really awesome if you have the wall space.
-renew your vows every 10 years and wear your dress at the reception.
-take anniversary photos in it every year. My aunt and uncle do this and it's amazing! They pick a different destination every year to travel and take pictures. It's a fun way to see how they grow as a couple through the years.
-have it altered into a more everyday friendly dress or a special occasion cocktail dress
-I've read about people who will take some of the extra fabric from your dress to make a set of underwear or lingerie if that's what you are into it could be really cool if it's done right. You could even do this yourself if you are crafty.
I plan on wearing mine again. It's a great big red flamenco style wedding dress and I love it! It's out for cleaning at the moment but I know that I'll wear it again even if it's just to a fast food restaurant with friends or something. I actually have a friend who got married before me lamenting that she couldn't wear her dress again and I suggested we just both put our dresses on and go get dinner. I mean, why not? It would be hilariously fun in my opinion. I spent WAY too much money on my dress to just wear it once and I even justified spending that much on it (I went a bit over budget) by saying I'd wear it at least once a year. I'm not sure how/where/why it'll all happen but it will :D
Wear your dress and feel good in it!
I have been doing the anniversary photos in our wedding clothes option. Last year we went apple picking and then made paper (1st anniversary paper anniversary) and this year is are going on a cotton tour (cotton anniversary) and then going to dinner..... I'm super excited for our 5th anniversary since it's on a Sunday and I'm hoping for a football game so we can wear our clothes to the stadium. (I have a full on ballgown and my husband has English morning wear)
